♥ RAINBOW PRINCESS LOVE ♥

Woohooo. I just went through a mind throbbing 700++ comments on Sun's newest hit, Fancy Free on Youtube. As usual, there's the whole love-hate comments and i could almost hear the declaration of war cry between the antagonist and protagonist. The fiery darts flew back and forth, fresh red blood spured out and many more valiant soldiers join in the fight, determined to protect their conviction.
As a kah poh, how can i miss out the fun? I want to give my two cents worth too! Putting down whatever religious background/church background/singaporean blood, I like the music video, frankly. The whole theme of amusement park and the catchy music makes me wanna groove to it. But then things aren't that simple, it's not a matter of just liking the music if i put my Christian personna and Singaporean personna back on. People do look at things through their tainted lens. There's always this expectation of people to behave in a certain manner if they fall under a certain catergory. If people don't behave according to the way they ought to, our judgemental side takes over. *wag the finger, shake your head, do the lizard sound* But sometimes, i feel that people might be too quick to judge. What's on the surface and prevalent to our naked eye might not be the truth. Many times, we need to look at the whole situation, whole package to evaluate something. Moreover, people's definition of what is good or bad differs very much. Why impose your standards upon others?
In any case, i'm glad there's critism in Sun's work. If not, there would not be any improvement. Be it jealousy or real heart-felt opinions, i'm sure it'll be a good driving force for people to work even harder and at the same time 'humble' a person. As in, if all the comments you received were flowery, honeyed comments, you won't grow in an unrealistic world. I'm not Miss congenality, trying to promote world peace nor do I live in a fairy tale world surrounded by pony and live on cotton candy. Very much like you, i'm not perfect and very much ordinary. I fail many times! But I like failing, not because i'm a pyschopath but because i can learn something from my fall. Even though it might be painful, at least i learn not to repeat the same time again.
This is a pretty quote i found on the web.
The greatest mistake you can make in life is to continually be afraid you will make one.
Elbert Hubbard
In any case, let's strive towards being a mature human beings who's able to balance and see different perspective of things. There's a reason why God created 2 ears and 1 mouth. Listen twice as much as you speak! :)
Have an awesome weekend love!
